In January of 2012, members of three local Chicago bands came together for a Friday night winter showcase at the House of Blues… What began as a one-night-only musical experiment has become a fully-stacked 9-piece hip-hop / rock / pop ensemble, known for its wild mix of styles and high-intensity, rock-infused performances. Chicago Loud 9 has since appeared at a number of major venues across the city, including Double Door, Hard Rock Cafe, Subterranean, and Beat Kitchen, as well as several stints throughout the Chicago summer street festival circuit, including the Taste of Lincoln Ave in Lincoln Park.
